The real time QPFs for the remote locations in the NWH (or elsewhere) are possible by driving a weather forecast model(s) using local scale meteorological observations and such weather forecast model be deployable on a desktop computer with normal configuration (Diomede et al. 2008; Clemins et al. 2019; Horton 2019; Singh and Kumar 2021).. This may allow real time operational use of the model for monitoring and forecasting of critically evolving hazardous weather situations. |
